These photos are from GD-210's very first flight as an ERA-3B.   
Skipper Millward. Chief Barbre, and I were taking her out for a post maintenance
(post mod) check flight. That was neat day!
I remember that flight! That was the first time we learned how noisy the ALQ-99 RATs were.
Just before V1, they spun up making a lot of noise! We were looking for problem indications,
didn't find any and got her airborne. 
At that point there was no question, we were going flying!  
The RAT noise was unexpected. All worked out well on that flight!

Here is a couple pix of 144846 GD210.  The pix were taken in Dallas, TX. at Love Field.
ESI leased one side of the Braniff hangar when this shot was taken.  This shot of me launching was first flight of the ERA-3B for VAQ-34.
Notice the small crowd, the Crew Chief and the Braniff A/C in the background. 
Wish I had better pictures but we pretty much busted our asses and didn't have much time or were too tired to document the historic stuff. 
No big deal, we had fun and have good memories.
